Fazley Sunset Series Dawn HSS Sky Blue Electric Guitar with Gig Bag

I forgot to mention in my initial review below.

The 2 single coil pickups weigh in at a very low 4.8K each. A standard S-style pickup would be the usually be around 5.6k to 6.5K, maybe it's just the guitar I received.

Still decent as a mod platform to upgrade.

A good guitar for the price. The string action and intonation will need adjustment. The fretwork impressed me with no buzzes, this might change once string radius and height is adjusted.

One thing that I noticed is, position 2 and 4 isn't hum cancelling, in fact, it hums more in these positions. It appears the 2 single coils have the same polarity.

Better electronics and a bigger tremolo block (the current one is the smallest I’ve encountered) would improve this guitar. Oh, and the scratch-plate, knobs and pickup colours ought to be the same not different, who makes these choices?

Great guitar for the price, roasted maple on the neck is a real surprise and very comfortable!
Will need a set-up after buying as expected of course, but it plays well, sounds great, feels very premium. I think it would make for a great base to upgrade in the future as well.
One disappointment: the color on the photos online doesn't match it in real life. On pictures it looks greenish blue, while in reality it is much much more blue. The Telecaster from the Sunset Dawn series has much more accurate colours on the listing if you want to be sure about the color - but this guitar is really pretty regardless :) no regrets

Deze gitaar voor mijn zoon gekocht zodat hij wat kan oefenen. Zelf speel ik op een custom made stratocaster. De kwaliteit is natuurlijk niet te vergelijken, maar deze fazley speelt wel erg goed. De action was iets te hoog. De snaren een klein beetje lager gezet en daarna prima. Nergens buzz. De hals voelt ook goed aan. Speelt soepel, barrés over de hele hals en soleren geen enkel probleem. Een leuke gitaar voor weinig geld. Vijf sterren voor dit product

Ik denk opzich een prima gitaar voor het geld, speelt licht en de burnt maple neck speelt fijn, maar overall merk je wel dat de kwaliteit wat lager is. Heb uiteindelijk de gitaar retour gestuurd en een squier gekocht.

Amai, amai, amai, ... wat is dit ? Om onmiddellijk met de deur in huis te vallen: dit is een zeer goede gitaar ongeacht de prijs. Ok, de actie was aan de hoge kant, de frets wat geoxideerd en de snaren moesten vervangen worden maar dat is een gemakkelijke klus. Deze gitaar speelt gemakkelijk, klinkt zeer goed zowel clean als overstuurd. Na het afstellen kan je een lage actie bekomen als je dat wilt. Zelfs de tremelo werkt behoorlijk zonder de gitaar te ontstemmen. En dat voor deze prijs ... ongelooflijk ! Ik speel 35 jaar gitaar, heb momenteel 15 gitaren en heb er in mijn loopbaan waarschijnlijk 50 zien passeren maar deze Fazley is ongelooflijk goed en kan zich meten met heel veel duurdere gitaren. Ok geen custom shop natuurlijk maar dit ding speelt gerust alle Squiers, Mexicaanse Fenders naar huis.
